getting close
This is our progress since our first session Claire's Early Interventionist a week and a half ago. She is learning to start "walking" with her hands on the ground. She still has no idea what to do with her feet. She also learned to pull herself to stand in the crib only and to cruise a little bit in her crib. Now if she can just do it other places too!

CHUCK E CHEESE
ANNABELLE WENT TO CHUCK-E-CHEESE FOR THE SECOND TIME IN HER LIFE. THIS TIME SHE RAN TO A NEW RIDE AS SOON AS THE RIDE WAS OVER. SHE ALSO LIKED TRYING TO THE PLAY THE GAMES

ANNABELLE LOVES TO SAY NO OR "I DON'T WANT TO". SHE CAN BE VERY COOPERATIVE ONE MINUTE AND TOTALLY UNCOOPERATIVE THE NEXT. SHE LOVES TO SING AND PLAY. SHE IS STARTING TO PLAY IN HER KITCHEN MORE AND MAKE FOOD FOR EVERYONE. SHE LOVES TO BE OUTSIDE ESPECIALLY IN HER SWING. SHE IS BARELY EATING ANYTHING, BUT SHE HAS ENERGY AND APPEARS TO BE HEALTHY. SHE LOVES CLAIRE AND LIKES TO TRY TO INCLUDE HER BY GIVING HER TOYS OR WANTING HER TO BE AROUND. SHE IS BACK INTO READING BOOKS WITH MOMMY AT NIGHT. HER FAVORITE IS "TAILS". SHE IS GETTING BETTER AT IDENTIFYING COLORS ESPECIALLY BLUE AND PINK. SHE CAN CLIMB INTO THE CAR AND INTO HER CARSEAT AND ALMOST COMPLETELY BUCKLE HERSELF IN. SHE LOVES TO RUN, HOP, AND PUSH CLAIRE IN THE STROLLER OUTSIDE. SHE LIKES TO TAKE TRIPS TO LOWES WITH DADDY. SHE STILL WAKES UP ONCE OR TWICE A NIGHT. SHE USUALLY FALLS BACK TO SLEEP WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE AND SHE GIVES HERSELF A PEP TALK BEFORE BED BY SAYING, "NO CRYING.ANNABELLE" AND MAKES MOM REPEAT HER.

one year old update
Claire is one year old. She weighs 19 pounds 1/2 oz. She is 28 inches tall. She is falling in 15-20% for everything, but she is maintaining her growth curve. Claire will now cover her eyes to play peek-a-boo. She likes to roll a ball back and forth. She likes to play with her Little People Animal zoo the best. She does like to play with lots of other toys. She is starting to really imitate other's play and words. She is saying lots of word approximations for words like ball, bottle, balloon, Chaz, cat, Daddy, & Moma. She points while grunting to everything she wants. She is still not crawling, but starting to put her bottom in the air. She is not pulling to stand, but will stand for a long time while holding on to a chair or tall toy. She is starting to attempt to cruise on the furniture. When holding onto her fingers, she can take 5-8 steps. She is very aware of her surroundings. She likes to ride in the stroller now, but is terrified of the swing. She likes anything, but her favorites are hot dogs and any noodles. She has 4 teeth with one more currently breaking through. The doctor is concern with her heavy breathing and snoring, so we are going to start Zyrtec to see if it is allergy related or tonsil related.

Claire's Birthday celebration
Claire loved the ice cream and pizza that we order for her birthday, but not so much the cake. She took a lick and then looked up and freaked out with everyone watching her. She still had a great birthday. She liked watching her cousins searched for Easter eggs. She liked opening the Easter eggs and accidentally ate a jelly bean. She attempted opening her gifts. She especially loved the boxes of her gifts with the babies or little kid pictures on it. Her favorite gift was a baby doll from Aunt Charla. She liked all her other gifts too!
Easter Morning
It took at while for Annabelle to find her Easter presents. She loved opening up the Easter Eggs to find the candy. She liked her lacing beads, felt board, books, & bubbles stuff!
