ANNABELLE 27 MONTHS

Annabelle loves to jump, color, draw, play play-doh, play dolls, watch Yo Gabba, and talk.  She is in a big girl's bed and likes it; although she wakes up several times during the night.  She is quite the early riser too lately (5:30) although with the time change, it's unpredictable lately.  She tries to take everything to bed from toothbrushes, to wash clothes (blankets for her stuff animals), to books to puzzles to at least 6 different stuff animals.  Annabelle is very sweet to Claire still.  She loves holding her hand and helping her jump.  She also wants Claire to sit on her lap as she gives her a hug which accidentally results in chocking her.  Her intentions are good!  Her favorite foods are Frozen Go Gurts and pizza. She likes to do Yo Gabba dances several hours after watching the show.  On our way home from the sitters, she says, "No home, don't want to go home, go store."  When we drive past a store, she will say, "Go this store!"    Then she will start whinning as soon as we turn into our neighborhood.  Everything is mine or my.  When she is watching Yo Gabba, she might say, "Where My skateboard? or "Where Annabelle's bike?"  She wants everything in the store now!  Daddy gave Annabelle an unexpected  hair cut that was a little too short for Mommy's taste.  Annabelle is still adorable!

SISTER FOREVER

claire 11 months

Claire has become very curious this past month  She likes to reach for everything; however she still hates to be on her belly, so we had no luck learning to crawl.  Every time she tries to pull to stand, she slides under the    crib or table.  She learned to point and will point her she wants to go or what she wants to hear Mommy say.  She likes to point at pictures or the window.  She is babbling a lot more & a string of babbling.  She has 4 teeth (2 top & 2 bottom).  She is very cuddly and loves being with her sister.  Annabelle and Claire hold hands while they jump on the bed (Mommy bounces Claire & Annabelle is holding her hand).  They look at each other and laugh.  Claire also likes to reach for herself when looking in the mirror.  She likes to look at books, but also needs up mouthing them.  Claire likes most of the food that is offered.  She likes to take things in and out of containers.

Annabelle 26 months

I can now say that Annabelle is officially potty trained both with pee and poop.  She is dry a few nights out of the week.  What a long two month process, but we are finally there!  Some of Annabelle's favorite phrases to say are: Oh man!  Sissy down, mommy up! see you later! see you tomorrow!  If you give her a choice she will say no or repeat what you said which means yes.  She has 3 out of her 4 two year molars that came in this month.  She loves to hop forward and is starting to hop over things.  She finally can do somersaults for the most part.  She loves to draw circles, lines, and dots.  She uses those skills to draw all the Yo Gabba Characters, Mommy, Daddy, Sissy, Annabelle, sun, and a flower.  I consider her drawings to be somewhat recognizable.  She loves to draw several different times everyday including in her notebook, on the easel, and in the bathtub.  Her favorite show is Yo Gabba and I see her sing songs, act parts of the show out, and dance during her play time.  She likes playing with her baby dolls and doing puzzles.  She likes to pick out what she wears which usually consists of Yo Gabba clothes, monkeys, or penguins.  If she had an elephant shirt, I'm sure she would pick that too.  She is a great sister by patting Claire and saying, "Don't cry sissy!" when Claire is said or by giving her toys.
